HUNUTELU Power Plant in Turkey runs normally after a strong earthquake.
On February 6th, two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.8 on the Richter scale occurred in Turkey within one day, followed by several aftershocks of magnitude above 6, causing a large number of houses to collapse.
After the two strong earthquakes, several surrounding power plants were severely damaged and ceased operation, resulting in a shortage of local electricity consumption. Only 110 kilometers away from the epicenter, the HUNUTELU Power Plant invested and constructed by Chinese-funded enterprises in Turkey felt the earthquake strongly. Fortunately, thanks to the reliable quality has a solid structure, no serious damage to the equipment, and is in stable operation. At present, the unit of the power plant is running smoothly, providing stable power for the rescue in the earthquake area.
The production of FRP flue for HUNUTELU Power Plant chose SWANCOR CHEMPULSE 901, the standard bisphenol A vinyl ester resin, as the anti-corrosion material, which provided a strong guarantee for the quality and service life of the smoke exhaust equipment of this project.
